Patient Reviews

I have been extremely impressed and grateful for the service I have received at Painswick House. I have had several issues over the past 18 months and have received nothing but kindness, patience and expertise second to none. Lesley Price is an absolute superstar; professional, caring, funny (always puts me at ease) and very talented. I moved 2 hours away and still made the trip to see her! Her team of dental nurses and the receptionists are fantastic and friendly too. Going to the dentist has actually become a not too bad experience. Thank you Lesley and the team at Painswick House.

A lovely dental practice with professional staff, a welcoming reception and dentists that provide excellent care with a high level of treatments available to patients. All hygienists within the practice are also very thorough and offer useful advice on dental health. Would recommend this dental practice to anyone.

A lovely traditional dental practice where the dentist and hygienists really care for the patients. I've had a couple of fillings sorted that were left neglected by another practice and given helpful tips by a couple of the hygienists who I have seen for routine care too. Would definitely recommend.

I recently had a filling and a crown done by Dr Price. She and the hygienist I then saw were very thorough. I hate going to the dentist and this was the best experience I've ever had! I've not had any tooth pain or issues since. Definitely recommend!

I have been a patient at Painswick house Dental Surgery for 30 years and highly recommend the practise. All the dentists are professional and dedicated, in particular I recommend Mrs Price who sees myself and my 2 children who actually really enjoy their check-ups due to being given a friendly and gentle experience at the dentists.

Coping with pain at home

The Government has given us an advisory date of 8th June to start to plan the return phase to work. During the lockdown time and while we have been offering telephone triage we have:

  • Worked tirelessly on obtaining the correct PPE
  • Watched closely the development in the science of new ways of working
  • Kept abreast of the ever-changing Government guidance
  • Once we get these elements will be training hard to ensure the dental environment is truly safe for both our patients and staff.

The last pieces of PPE will be with us shortly and we are still waiting for clarification of how we will need to work – again we are promised this soon.

During the lockdown, we have now got a list of patients that need our urgent help. Understandably we will be giving our first attention to those that need us most, but rest assured we will be getting to you as soon as we can – our computer system has you safely logged. If you develop a problem please give us a ring.

To accommodate everyone, we may be opening extended hours.

When we reopen, we and the practice will look quite different, don’t worry, its still US under all the funny looking costumes and we will fully explain how you will move through the practice before you come.

If you have any questions please contact us on 01242 523560 or admin@painswikhousedental.co.uk

We thank you all for your patience and understanding at this most extra-ordinary of times.
